RoomRaccoon, a leading all-in-one hotel management system, has announced its partnership with Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland. The partnership gives back to the hospitality industry by means of an inspiring scholarship program.
May 2022. The tragedy of the pandemic placed the hospitality industry on the precipice. However, as travel restrictions are lifted, the road to recovery is in sight.
To help support those who struggled through the pandemic, RoomRaccoon has decided to join forces with HIT Scotland – an industry charity that runs fundraising events to empower talent in the hospitality sector.
As a corporate supporter, RoomRaccoon will participate in the organisation's events across Scotland and further afield to help raise funds for its programs.
For HIT Scotland, the industry plays a critical role in securing its future health by giving back to tomorrow’s workforce. Their website states: “This is a responsibility that we all share as the current custodians of the industry we are part of.”
“We are excited to work alongside an established and respected charity network,” shared Stevie Reffin, Country Manager of RoomRaccoon UKI. “We share common goals to empower hoteliers and the wider hospitality community.”
Based in the UK, Stevie has long admired the work done by the team at HIT Scotland. “David Cochrane, Kirsty MacLeod, Alyson Gray, and the wider team at HIT Scotland do amazing work for our trade and have done so for some time. We look forward to working with them in 2022 and beyond.”
Stevie will attend HIT Scotland’s fundraising event on the 9th of June at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. “We welcome the opportunity to connect with a wide range of industry experts, business owners, and like-minded individuals and companies," he says.
